Now that the days are getting longer and the average temperatures are beginning to rise we see the flowers that will soon turn in to fruit and be ready to harvest this coming summer. We are seeing lots of bloom on our trees now,

and that forecasts a good harvest this summer.

But there is fruit to enjoy in these last few weeks of Winter

and the first few weeks of Spring.

Caimito

This delightful little fruit is at its best at this time of year. This fruit is very popular in the West Indies, Southeast Asia, and in Africa, and there is a small group of growers from south Florida that produce this fruit and can ship it to you now. Contact these growers here to order caimito!

Sapodilla

December – June

The oh-so-delicious sapodilla crop is ready for picking, and DEVOURING!!! Because there are several varieties of sapodilla that mature at different times, the Florida sapodilla crop extends from December to the summer! So contact our sapodilla growers here to order Florida sapodillas!
